If you have recently logged onto the island of Club Penguin, you would notice that the Marvel Superhero Takeover Party is still going on. The Club Penguin Team has extended the party and it will last for another week, because the party is still here this weeks newspaper is also a special edition. In the special edition there are two sides that are both very noteworthy. The front side has all of the important details for the Super Heroes, the 2nd page is for the super villains. In this newspaper you will find two main and two support stories. This is because of the superhero super villain mash-up. Lastly, you can find the upcoming events section on the front page. Look below to figure out what’s in this week’s Club Penguin Times Issue 349.

The title for the first main story is called, “Final Showdown!” You could see in the picture that Nick Fury and Thor are standing in front of a fake Destructobot. This article is written by Aunt Arctic and she thinks that it is a bad day for the bad guys. She says that the Super Heroes are assembling in their orbiting HQ to prepare for the final showdown with the Destructobot. A penguin with an eye-patch says that its time and that they have to save the world, Aunt Arctic thinks that he is some pirate Super Hero but he is really Nick Fury. If you read a little more you could see that a shadowy figure is talking and that they have to face the robot head on. He starts talking to his agents and then I figured out that he must be the Director. The battle ends on July 3rd.

When you have finished reading the first main article you could then read the following story, which is the support story. The title for this section is called “Citizen Standoff!” Aunt Arctic has written this article as well and it talks about how the struggle between cops and robbers continues this week. Some intense standoffs have been reported from the downtown area. Now the police officers are encouraging the robbers to stop their nasty ways and turn them into good guys. A police officers then states that he was a bad guy once too but he realized that crime doesn’t pay, literally. Another robber has also turned to the good side and the police officers let the robber out of the cell and give him his CPPD uniform. Below is a picture of the whole support story.

After you have finished reading both articles of the Superhero side, you are at the third and last important section of the first page, the upcoming events. The upcoming events tell you what will happen to Club Penguin over the next few weeks. There is usually four things that are included, under each one of the things, there is a small caption that describes the event. Below is a picture of the upcoming events.

• On now: Find the pin hidden now until July 11th.
• July 3rd: The Superhero Takeover Party will end.
• July 5th: New stage play.
• July 5th: New Clothing Catalog.
• July 12th: New pin hidden.

On the opposite side of the Club Penguin Times Issue 349, you will find the super villain section. The second page consists of two important sections, the main article and the support story. The title for the main article is called, “Villain Victory Imminent!” The Ultimate Protobot 10k says that the Super Villain’s losing to the Super Heroes is unacceptable and that the time has come to end the stalemate. Click on the button named “ORDERS” to get your jobs from Protobot. The first thing he wants us to do is gather more forces, turn the Superheroes into Super Villains and attack as one. The second order is to defend the Destructobot, Protobot will harvest power from the Meteor to make the bot invincible. He also wants us to break into the Super Hero HQ and try to stop them no matter what. The last order is to drive all of the penguins from the island, the Super Villains have to rule Club Penguin.

The next article is the support stories for the villains. The title for the support story is called, “Robbers Escape Jail” this part is about how some robbers were able to get out of jail. It’s stating that the Club Penguin Police Department had a huge setback this week, a crowd of robbers manged to escape while a police officer was on duty. The officer said that he was just sitting and he saw the robbers in the cell but when he looked again, they were all gone. The officer also added that he saw a penguin dressed up as the evil Loki, the Norse god of mischief. After the officer saw Loki he must have arrested him because he is not currently wanted for questioning. At the ending of the article it says that if you see a robber or see Loki, we should contact the CPPD right away.

Once you have finished reading all 5 articles in the newspaper then you could read two questions sent in by a penguin and the Ultimate Protobot 10k. On the first page Aunt Arctic replies with a smile but on the second page, Protobot asks a bad question, due to this Aunt Arctic’s regular smile turns into a disturbed and depressed look. If you have finished reading both questions you could then check out a new secret that is included in the second page of the newspaper. You have to go to the bottom of the page and then click on the folder. This weeks secret is submitted by Protobot and he talks about how to become a great villain.
